At one point, he'd place a large, last-minute bet and if it lost, he'd insist the dealer put the chips on the wrong spot and the accomplice would say he was a witness. After getting friendly with the dealer, he would make last-minute bets, slowly increasing them. One article says that he would talk to dealers while his accomplice made bets. you'd think if he were caught past posting or manipulating bets he'd be taken out in cuffs. I'd think so, as well, but I'm not seeing any arrests.

I think it's a stretch to even describe that as a, 'Play.' It's just straight-up theft. At least be good enough to never get caught and get caught when someone reviews old camera footage years down the line for some other reason. The dealers would remember and they would employ mental pressures to make them think otherwise. When you have to mentally pressure someone you are not very good at misdirection in the first place. I think when you involve an innocent dealer its one of the worst types of plays.
